My reasons for loving Thanksgiving and the long weekend that follows have changed over the years. I find myself now treasuring the emphasis on gratitude and the slower pace this week brings at Eremos.

Setting our clocks back over this past weekend brought the arrival of the night earlier, reminding us that the hours of darkness will grow here in the northern hemisphere until the Winter Solstice.
