A Worthy Reminder…

As we close out this month, I find myself coming back to wisdom about our inherent worth that found me last week.
Self worth is not a “nice to ponder” concept but a vital understanding to master because worthiness empowers us to hope, to believe in our ability to make a difference, and to give us strength to seek peace amidst an anxious world.
When everything on the surface falls away who are you? What if Van Der Beek and others who point the way got it just right? With the love of the Holy One inside you, could it be your small effort to bring some light into the world today isn’t small at all?
You are worthy of receiving more, but you’re also worthy of valuing—like the gold it is—every smile, act of kindness, and gift of compassion you give the world.
May you find the courage to accept the truth of your worthiness and let it infuse every cell of your being and every action you take.
