A Quiet Pause
June 22 @ 12:30 pm - 1:00 pm CDT

A Quiet Pause…
“Wisdom comes with the ability to be still. Just look and listen.” –Eckhart Tolle
Free Weekly 30-Minute Pause for Busy People
Every Thursday, 12:30pm Central to 1:00pm
With busy people like you in mind, this weekly Quiet Pause includes a brief guided meditation or poem and image for reflection, then 20 minutes of silence in community, and closes with an inspiring message to take with you as you re-enter your day.
Our intention is to offer an opportunity to just “be” as respite from frantic doing. You may experience a decrease in stress, clarity about a challenge, and/or new ideas – all outcomes proven to be possible in times of silent reflection.
Spend the time of silence meditating, journaling, doodling, or even walking/stretching. All we ask is phones are silenced and put away and email and other computer distractions are closed as well while we are in our virtual community. Ah! A refreshed you awaits! Please join us.

“If you just sit and observe, you will see how restless your mind is. If you try to calm it, it only makes it worse, but over time it does calm, and when it does, there’s room to hear more subtle things – that’s when your intuition starts to blossom and you start to see things more clearly and be in the present more.”
— Steve Jobs

ABOUT YOUR FACILITATORS

John Fassnacht
John Fassnacht retired after 40 years as a practitioner of organization and leadership development in healthcare.During that time, I spent several years in Ministry Formation at Ascension Health, a large Catholic healthcare system. That work included the integration of personal mission and vocation with the daily practice of healthcare through leading retreats, meditation groups, and development of spiritual practices.
Sheila is my soulmate and compass for 50 years. We are blessed with our two daughters, Mary and Erin, her husband, Brian, and our two granddaughters, Emily and Norah. They bring joy to our lives.

Leslie Wagner
Leslie Wagner is currently retired with a special interest in reconnecting to the divine through nature and creativity, both individually, as well as through leading small groups in meditation and connection with nature. With prior careers in IT Project Management, Chaplaincy and Mental Health counseling, her vocational focus has been on helping others along their path in life. She currently lives in Cedar Park, Texas, and enjoys camping, hiking and painting. She also serves on the Eremos Board of Directors.

Dianna Amorde
With more than 20 years leadership experience and ten years as Eremos’ Executive Director, Dianna brings her passion for helping people trust their inner knowing to her work at Eremos. Author of Aha! Moments: When Intellect & Intuition Collide and the weekly reflections in Eremos’ newsletters, Dianna views her service with Eremos as a natural part of her desire to inspire people to trust their inner wisdom. She has witnessed the profound life changes that taking time to go within to connect with Spirit can bring to people and their communities. She holds an MBA from Harvard University and a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Southern California. Time among the trees and birds on early morning walks continues to renew her in these tumultuous days. And she always makes time to greet any four-legged friends she sees along the way.
