Contemplative Morning
September 17, 2022 @ 9:30 am - 12:00 pm CDT
Free
You’re invited to experience
a quiet morning of contemplation in community.
We are excited to be able to offer these meetings in person again! Since the location changes with each meeting, the address will be provided closer to the event. Note: the first 30 minutes or so will be social in nature, with the program starting around 10am. Feel free to join us at any time, just let Leslie know if you will be arriving after 10am.
Experience the simple, profound gifts that the spaciousness in this ‘time out’ can give you.
Whether it’s to be present to God’s love and call, to hear your inner wisdom, or to rest your weary spirit in quiet company, come and be awhile.
While each morning will have its own flow, a typical in-person experience would be:
- Gathering and Connecting (Social time) (20-30 minutes),
- Opening Reflection about the Theme for the Session (30 minutes)
- Individual Contemplative Time Inside or Outside (1 hour),
- and Group Reflection & Closing (30 minutes).
Please join us!
We are really looking forward to adding back the Nature and Creativity portions of our contemplative mornings, which have been so nurturing to us in the past, AND we will try to make accommodations for those who still want to join us from outside the Austin area, if you cannot join us in person.
