August 6 @ 9:30 am - 12:00 pm CDTFree
You’re invited to experience
a quiet morning of contemplation in community.
After many months of virtual gatherings, we excited to offer an in person contemplative morning experience once again on August 6th. Elaine Betterton will host us at her beautiful Wells Branch home. Note: The first 30 minutes or so will be social in nature. Just let Leslie know if you prefer to arrive closer to 10am.
Experience the simple, profound gifts that the spaciousness in this ‘time out’ can give you.
Whether it’s to be present to God’s love and call, to hear your inner wisdom, or to rest your weary spirit in quiet company, come and be awhile.
While each morning will have its own flow, a typical in-person experience would be: Gathering (10 minutes), Group Theme Discussion (20 minutes), Community Silence (30 minutes), Individual Contemplative Time Inside or Outside (trails & park next door) (1 hour), and Group Reflection & Closing (30 minutes). Please join us!
We are really looking forward to adding back the Nature and Creativity portions of our contemplative mornings, which have been so nurturing to us in the past, AND we will try to make accommodations for those who still want to join us from outside the Austin area, if you cannot join us in person.
9:30AM – 12:00PM
Address to be emailed to you upon registration.
If interested in finding out about the group and the next scheduled meeting date, please EMAIL US HERE and will get back to you asap.
