About Our Guest Speaker:
Robin Bradford is an inter-spiritual chaplain, writer, teacher, grief tender, textile artist, and retired nonprofit worker. Robin’s lifelong spiritual thirst has led her from her childhood in a socially liberal Lutheran church in Houston, to practicing yoga long before yoga mats, and eventually to Zen Buddhist meditation. Trained as a writer, Robin has published poetry, fiction, and essays in dozens of publications and anthologies, including A Fire to Light Our Tongues: Texas Writers on Spirituality. As a decades-long student of Buddhist teacher Flint Sparks, Robin brings her own flavor of wisdom, wit and hope to this year’s theme, “Writing the Next Chapter.” Robin is passionate about helping people slow down to learn what’s true now, embrace tiny, beautiful things, and love this planet as themselves.
