The Five Questions: Spiritually Seeking a Meaningful Life

February 9 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm CST

$40.00

“We are rediscovering the philosophia perennis, the early nineteenth-century phrase that pointed to an idea of a shared universal truth, and at a rather quick pace—God seems urgent at this point in our tragic history. Some of us call it the ‘wisdom tradition’ which keeps showing itself in all of the world religions throughout history.” –Fr. Richard Rohr (Foreword to Perennial Wisdom for the Spiritually Independent)

Spiritually Seeking a Meaningful Life with Rabbi Rami Shapiro

At the heart of almost every spiritual quest across faith traditions, Rabbi Rami suggests there are five questions:

  • Who am I?
  • Where did I come from?
  • Where am I going?
  • How shall I live?
  • Why?

Drawing upon his popular book, Perennial Wisdom for the Spiritually Independent, Rabbi Rami invites us into a conversation to clarify and explore these questions.

By accessing sacred texts from a wide variety of faith traditions, we can sense the universal wisdom common to all. From this open-hearted place, you can “weave your own tapestry of truth out of these culturally diverse threads of universal wisdom.”

Wherever you are on your spiritual journey, this conversation can reignite your passion for the spiritual quest and help begin to “draw out of you the wisdom that surpasses all tradition.” Join us!
