Writing the Body’s Yearning for Shalom

October 29 @ 9:30 am - 4:00 pm CDT

$40.00 – $235.00

“The combination of moving and writing brings the energy of mind into coherence with the energy of the body…In this space of alignment, shalom can be experienced.” –Cheryl Pallant

Where attention goes, the body follows.

When the body becomes more pliant, the mind comes alive. This aliveness leads to a strengthened connection to the core of being, peace, and to a universal consciousness.

This somatic writing day workshop blends body awareness, writing, and contemplative movement to cultivate the wholeness and completeness that is the root of shalom.

After two powerful experiences with Cheryl Pallant via Zoom in 2021, we are excited to offer a small group of Eremos friends an opportunity to work with Cheryl in person. (For those of you unable to be with us in Austin, we are working on a Friday evening Zoom option to experience Cheryl’s wisdom as well. Stay tuned.)

Note: Movement during the program will be gentle and can be done seated, if necessary. No prior experience with any movement or writing practices is necessary. Please join us!
