Fill Up with Wonder…

Early this morning I found solace, hope, and wonder in the stunning beauty of a Texas sunrise. Walking my friend’s two dogs along the park trail, feeling despair for our country, I looked up and stopped walking to appreciate and soak up the glorious view before me.
Only able to linger for a moment, that incredible experience still gave me something good, something eternal, and something hopeful to hold on to.
What fills you with wonder and awe? Can you seek out more of those experiences? Even if only for a moment or two, wonder can work its transformative power on you, giving you hope where there once was none.

As many people experience Holy Week or Passover, all of us, whatever our faith, can tap into this sacred time to keep offering prayers, shining our light, and seeking experiences of wonder and awe. Filled up, we go back to making a positive difference, one prayer, one call, one light at a time.
May you seek and find experiences that fill you with wonder and awe. And may they remind you to never give up hope.
